Asahi Intecc USA, Inc. (“AIU”) and its affiliated companies set an objective of actively expanding its components business in the medical device field through providing superior customer service for our customers as one of our key strategies. As part of that strategy, for the purpose of consolidating our businesses to provide one-stop customer service, deeper and faster product development to meet our customer needs, and streamlined service, AIU has a plan to transfer our entire components wholesale business in a medical and industrial device field into a new wholly-owned consolidated subsidiary called Filmecc USA, Inc. (“FMU”), and make FMU a dedicated components business company in Asahi Group as of July 1, 2022 (“Transfer Date”). FMU will then complete all functions of the current AIU’s components business, including sales and order fulfillment.
