Wall thickness consistency of PTFE Liner

Asahi Intecc has been working extensively for years developing PTFE Liner for catheter manufacturing. 

Our continuous spool-to-spool process on silver-plated copper core wire realizes exceptional consistency with tighter tolerances.

Actual measurement data of Asahi Intecc PTFE Liner is summarized below


1. Specification

 - Outer diameter:   0.575 mm ± 0.01 mm

 - Wall thickness:     0.008 mm ± 0.002 mm

 - Winding Length:  1240 m

 - Measurement points:  n = 49587 (every 25 mm)


2. Actual value

 - Outer diameter:  99.99% within spec range (± 0.010 mm)

 - Wall thickness:    98.6% within spec range (± 0.002 mm)
